Colour Stories Inspiration - Case #241

Hi crafty friends, today I am sharing my layout for the CSI case #241.

Keep Calm

How I solved the case:
The sketch: I have kept my photo and embellishments to the centre 'panel' of the page.
The scheme: pale, pale grey - the diamond pattern on the light paper framing the photo; peanut brown - the cork paper strips top and bottom of the photo; light buttery yellow - thin photo matt; crimson - the lollipop in the photo; palest grey, almost white - the sky in the photo.
The evidence: tree, stars, hearts, animals, wood, chevron arrows, vellum.
The testimony: the inspirational word 'calm'.

Colour Stories Inspiration - Case #242

Do what you LOVE!

How I solved the case:
The scheme: pale grey - patterned paper (background), title tag; khaki - paper framing photo, mist, flowers; white - texture paste, journalling strips, die cut scribbles; moss green - radiant gel, stamp ink, leaves; coffee brown - mist, paper, flower.
The evidence: leaves/flowers, stamp (random along edge in moss green), buttons, tags, bird, string, jute ribbon.
The testimony: document something you love to do.

Thanks to Debbi and the CSI team for another great challenge!

Kraft Plus challenge - November

Hello crafty friends. My entry for the Kraft Plus Think Big challenge.

Big Dam
Another photo from my husband's cycling adventures. As long as he keeps cycling, I will have a supply of photos to scrap.

Products used: Tim Holtz grit paste, distress ink - ground espresso, Stampin' Up ink - chocolate chip, Kaisercraft alphabets, coconut shell buttons, metal cogs, die cut mesh, dry wall tape, chipboard pieces from my stash.

Thanks to Sandra and the Kraft Plus team for another great challenge.
